Yates wins close Superstock race

(Lexington, OH) — Yoshimura Suzuki's Aaron Yates (#20) extended his points lead in the AMA Superstock race Sunday, July 24 at the Mid-Ohio Sports Car Course.

Yates had a race-long battle with Team Yamaha's Jason DiSalvo (#40). Yates led the entire race but DiSalvo was never more than a few tenths of a second behind.

Third was Michael Jordan Motorsports' Steve Rapp (#15), who fought his way up from eighth place at the start to claim the final podium spot. Fourth place went to Lion Racing's Jacob Holden (#59), with Team Kawasaki's Roger Lee Hayden (#95) in fifth.
