Ward Wins with Consistency

Shawano, WI (June 10, 2006) — Parts Unlimited rider, Jeff Ward extended his points lead over THOR rider, Doug Henry after Henry suffered a pair of crashes and finished 11-6 at the third round of the AMA Supermoto Championship presented by Parts Unlimited.

Defending series champion, Jurgen Kunzel had problems of his own and finished out the weekend with a 7-4 showing.

Henry's teammate, Mark Burkhart won his first Supermoto round of the season on Saturday but a high speed crash on Sunday ruined his hopes for a weekend sweep.

With Wardy's top competition having problems all weekend, he took his 5-2 finishes to win the overall in Shawano, WI.
