Villopoto Stomps the Competition at Anaheim 2

Janesville, WI - Ryan Villopoto won his second Amp'd Mobile AMA Supercross Lites Series race in front of 43,144 fans at Angel Stadium in Anaheim, CA. Chad Reed worked his way into second after a fair start to finish second.
In the AMA Supercross class, Honda's Nick Wey earned the $1,500 Progressive Direct Holeshot Award. Near the end of the opening lap Stewart moved into the number-one position and opened a huge lead, riding to his third consecutive win. Wey held onto second place until lap seven when Chad Reed passed him. Reed finished second and Wey finished third. Paul Carpenter and Josh Summey gave Moose Racing top ten finishes with a seventh and ninth respectively.
Steve Boniface earned the $1,000 Progressive Direct Holeshot Award in the AMA Supercross Lites class with Josh Grant in tow. Last weekend's race winner, Christophe Pourcel, started in 13th place to only pull off early after casing a double and injuring his foot. Villopoto moved into second place at the end of lap one, and on lap two he passed Boniface for the lead and rode off to victory and now sits 17 points ahead of second place in the overall point standings. Rookie Josh Hill put in a strong ride to finish third.
