Toyota AMA Arenacross series made a stop in Reno, NV

Janesville, WI - Round three of the Toyota AMA Arenacross series made a stop in Reno, NV November 17 & 18, 2006 before taking a month off. In front of a near sold-out crowd, Danny Smith walked away with his second win of the season while Keith Johnson captured his first win of the season Saturday night. Defending champion, Chad Johnson once again struggled from a poor start the first night but managed to charge to a fourth place finish on night one. Saturday night didn't get any better for the champ as he could only manage a sixth place finish. Heading into the long break, Johnson sits 28 points behind Smith in points. Johnson's teammate, Greg Schnell sits sixth in points. Look for the Parts Unlimited and Thor riders to come out swinging when the series resumes in Charlotte, NC after the New Year.
