Lange Extends Points Lead

Janesville, WI - After beginning the 2006-07 BooKoo Arenacross Championship Series with three out of four wins, former Arenacross champion, Darcy Lange continued extending his points lead at the second round in Salem, OR. November 10th & 11th, 2006.
Jimmy Nelson put in two amazing rides during Friday night's racing and took both class wins. Lange came across the line in second during the 250 main while his teammate, Jeff Northrop finished fourth. The 450 main didn't go according to plan as Northrop and Lange finished fifth and sixth respectively. Determined to turn things around and get back on top, Lange steamed rolled through Saturday night to take both class wins. Northrop rode strong in the 250 main to finish second behind his teammate but struggled in the 450 main and finished seventh.
By sweeping Saturday night, Lange now leads the series by 42 points (149) and has a total of five wins. Northrop sits in third (106) after two rounds.
